Sometimes, we ponder on what makes Engr. (Dr) Funmilayo Waheed Adekojo FNSE FunmiAyinke a unique woman. So many qualities come to mind – strength, compassion, patience and perserverance, resilience, love and care, diligence and most importantly her ability to procreate.
There is just something that sets her apart. Words may fail to describe HER.
Engr. (Dr) Funmilayo Waheed-Adekojo FNSE is one who unapologetic about her womanhood, her identity and her values and desires. She is a woman who believe in herself and comfortable in her own skin, she open to everyone regardless of social standing and resilient inspite of hardship and continues to develop her gifts and talents for the good of humanity. She is not a judgmental of others but seeks out good in everyone, always lending a helping hand to all.
In area of education, as we all know that education is a powerful agent of change, and improves health and livelihoods, contributes to social stability and drives long-term economic growth. Engr. (Dr) Funmilayo Waheed-Adekojo FNSE helps students both graduate and undergraduate to transform their educational systems to ensure that they can get the quality of education they need to unlock their full potential and contribute to building a better Nigeria.
She is a Chief executive officer of FunmiAyinke Nig Ltd, FunmiAyinke music and FunmiAyinke Humanity Foundation who build a strong leadership foundation based on the value that are visible and admirable to others. Humility and clear focus are some of the value examples she lived by.
According to her “When girls are educated, their countries become stronger and more prosperous. We want the education by which character is formed, strength of mind is increased, the intellect is expanded, and by which one can stand on one’s own feet”.
