Ondo 2020 : Why Labour Party Will Return to Power -Omotosho.
Ahead of the governorship election in Ondo State,a Chieftain of the Labour and the coordinator of the party in Ondo State, Engr.Omotosho has reassured the people of the state of the party’s readiness to return to power in 2021.
Omotosho gave the assurance at a meeting of party executives in Akure on Wednesday where issues on the forthcoming primaries were discussed.
He gave the hint on why the party was the best option for the people of Ondo State in the forthcoming election having laid a lasting legacy which could not be hurriedly forgotten by the people of the state.
Omotosho said the party gave the people of Ondo State a sense of belonging while it ruled the state for eight (8) years under the leadership of Dr.Olusegun Mimiko.
The Labour Party coordinator lamented the spate of insecurity in the State under the leadership of Arakunrin Akeredolu and promised to address the issue of security in the State if returned to power at the polls.
Omotosho said the party will field credible and dependable candidate at the polls while soliciting the support of the people of the state in October when the election will be conducted.
He called on workers in the state to brace up to the challenges ahead and see Labour Party as the only option to the challenges faced by the state workforce.
Omotosho said the party will uphold its integrity and prioritize the needs of the people.
