As all is set for the Deputy Governor of Ondo State Hon Agboola Ajayi, to decamp to the People’s Democratic Party on Monday ahead of the State governorship election, he was barricaded at the exist of the government House on Saturday evening.
According to the Commissioner of police that was recently redeployed to the Sunshine State, since the Deputy Governor has sent a letter of notification to him stating he will be leaving the Rulling All Progressive Party on Monday in his home town Kiribo of Ese Odo local government of the State. The Governor Arakunrin Akeredolu Rotimi has ordered that he the Deputy Governor can’t move out of the government house with any official vehicle attached to his office.
The governor and his deputy has long been in a loggerhead rift which has seems not reconcilable for a period of time.
