It is no doubt that Olayide Adelami is the leading aspirant under the ruling All Progressive Congress vying for the position of Governor in the forth coming gubernatorial polls in the State.
The Owo born administrator is not just aspiring for the position of Ondo State first citizen to acquire wealth or gain more influence but to use his wealth of experience in the Civil Service as the deputy clerk of the National Assembly to bring developmental projects nearer to the people of Ondo State.
The State Gubernatorial election will be conducted this year October but the ruling All Progressive Party will be conducting it’s primary election on the 20th of July.
Adelami in a meeting today at Ikare Akoko, where the 120 wards coordinator unanimously agreed to endorse Chief Olayide Adelami as their sole candidate for the forth coming Guber Election.
Adelami’s name has turned out to be an household name within the short time he has spent as a politician in the State right from the 2019 General Election, when he canvassed the whole South West region for the return election of Buhari/Osinbanjo ticket.
His unabashed antecedent as a public servant has made the totality of Akoko people to reckon with him. His track record was without blemish. His philanthropical gestures has made the APC stalwart in the whole Akoko Region of the State to show their interest and support to him.
The people of the Region in their hundreds came out not just to have a town hall meeting with him but also showing their party membership card, assuring him of their support in unseating the incumbent governor of Ondo State.
The convener of the meeting, Ibitoye Kehinde assures Adelami of the whole region’s support in winning the party’s ticket and overwhelming resounding victory at the gubernatorial polls.
