NIGERIA @61: AJIPE FELICITATES WITH BUHARI, AKEREDOLU
*URGE NIGERIANS TO PRAY FOR PEACE
The Convener of IBI GIGA AMBASSADORS Chief Dr Alex Ajipe, has called on Nigerians to promote unity and peaceful co-existence to ensure growth and development of the country.
Ajipe in a statement by his Media aide Solomon Adewoye in Akure the state capital also urged Nigerians to always pray and support the government at all levels for the general progress of the country.
He noted that all had not been well with the country for so long, enjoined the citizenry not lose sight of how marvelous the Almighty God had been to Nigeria as a nation, pointing out that the country had been divinely blessed with several mineral, human and material resources.
The APC chieftain also drummed support for President Muhammadu Buhari and Gov. Oluwarotimi Akeredolu administrations by Nigerians. He said that this had become necessary in order for people to enjoy more dividends of democracy
According to him, governor Akeredolu was doing his best to touch the lives of the people of Ondo state positively through his various policies and programmes especially in the area of insecurity and industrialisation
“Today, as we mark our nation’s 61st independence anniversary, let us all bear it in mind that we shall overcome whatever challenges our nation may be facing presently.
“As a nation, we are better together than we are apart. Hence, we must be wary of those who hide under religion, politics, tribe and sundry groupings to turn us against one another”
“Despite our perceived differences, our strength and progress depend on our ability to harness our rich diversity.
” in the last 61 years as a nation, we are better than where we were and with determination, faith and commitment to our fatherland,we are close to where we should be. I have the belief that the golden years of this great Nation will return” Ajipe said.
