BEING THE PRESS STATEMENT OF THE NDDG AFTER AN EMERGENCY MEETING HELD AT PORTHACOURT RIVERS STATE NIGERIA ON 7TH JANUARY 2023.

The resolution of our emergency meeting which had the unanimous consent of all the structures of our leadership to send a congratulatory message to Mr. Ogunmola Charles, EDP NDDC.
To the glory of God and for the benefit of humanity, the leadership and members across all 9 states of the Niger Delta under the aegis of the NIGER DELTA DEVELOPMENT GROUP (NDDG) congratulate the Executive Director Project, NDDC Mr. Charles Ogunmola.
The congratulations is coming, following our cross examination of the profile of the amiable Executive Director Projects accomplishment prior to his appointment. Your credibility sir, is giving us hope of a more developing Niger Delta under your watch.
That, you bare such humility and leadership capacity that will put the members of the Niger Delta in the right spot, nationally and globally.
We are grateful to Mr. President, Muhammadu Buhari for finding you worthy of the exalted office. We are sure that it is based on your competence and capacity, considering your track records.
More so, the leadership have called for the emergency meeting yesterday, 7th January, to discuss on issues and take a stand in view of your leadership. Therefore, a vote of confidence is hence passed that you satisfy all requirements and have such profile to lead as the Executive Director Projects, NDDC.
We equally, want you to note that the mandate areas are looking towards your creative intervention and to provide succour to our people.
We also call on all progressive Niger Deltans to join sway in giving the adequate support your office will require to achieve its goals without unnecessary distractions.
Once again, congratulations as you begin the journey to develop the Niger Delta region.
We are more than optimistic, that you will deliver. And will always stand by you in the course of justice and fairness.
