NDDC Board Nomination: Chief Idowu congratulates Ogunmola, Edema, describes Buhari’s decision as deserving
A prominent stakeholder and frontline youth Ambassador in Ilaje Local Government Area of Ondo State, Chief Asonja Idowu, has congratulated Engr Charles Ogunmola and Hon. Gbenga Edema, for their recent nomination by President Muhammadu Buhari, President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, as Executive Director Project and Ondo Sate Representative respectively at the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) board.
While congratulating the nominees via a recent release personally signed by him and made available to GbaramatuVoice, Idowu described the development as well thought out and deserving.
In his words, “I congratulate my very dear elder brothers on their recent nomination into the NDDC board by our very dear President Muhammadu Buhari. The appointment to me is a testament of their impeccable qualities, character and capacity. The recognition shows the stuff they are made. I am particularly happy that President Buhari in his wisdom was able to make these appointments despite forces and pressures from different quarter against such move.
The appointment of these illustrious Ondo sons is a sign that a golden fish has no hiding place.”
Continuing, the famous community leader and grassroots mobilize added that by constituting the NDDC board, Mr. President has demonstrated beyond reasonable doubt that he loves the people of Niger Delta region and cares about their development and wellbeing.
He however called on the nominees to remember that the latest appoint is a call to national service.
In similar vein, the Ilaje born youth leader who recently got married to his heartthrob called on Ondo sons and daughters to rally support for the nominees in ways that will assist see to their confirmation by the senate and eventual success in the office
