Today history is made again in Ondo State after a keen contest in the much awaited National Association of Ondo State Students election which took place at Adegbemile Cultural Center where Comrade Atoyebi Grace Aderonke emerged as the first female President with 83votes, of the 123 total accredited voters and Adejobee Ayopo Damilola as Senate President of the highest Students’ body in the state respectively.
In the election supervised by the outgoing Students’ leadership, the Deputy Senate President Olabanji Asebiode stood in for the Senate President who is currently attending to his health issue at the Federal Medical Centre, Owo and the Clerk of the Association Ajigboni Adewale guided the process of accreditation to ascertain genuine senators for the election. The security agents where on ground to maintain law and order and the election went on peacefully. The date for the inauguration will be communicated to the public.
