An aspirant jostling for the APC House of Representatives ticket in Akoko South East/South West Federal Constituency, Adeyeri Stephen Kunle,ASK has refuted the claims on social media that he has stepped down for reasons stated in the report.
Adeyeri who spoke to journalists on Saturday, said his nomination form has been purchased and his commitment to Constituency development remains undiluted.
Adeyeri who is popularly known as ASK called out those behind the rumor saying they are faceless people who cannot win a unit in their political ward.
He berated politicians who engage in campaign of culumny as a tool of winning the hearts of the public, saying such will not stand the test of time.
His words:” How on earth will politicians believe that bringing people down as a campaign strategy will give them edge in the contest? Our team will not engage in such and we are sure of victory by God’s grace.”
” Those behind such story are afraid of our stability and influence on our people.We have given our best to community development and the people shall speak with their votes at the polls.What we have done is to speak to the people and leave the rest to God.”
Adeyeri also praised the leadership of the party for promising a level playing ground for all the aspirants in the State.
He further warned his distractors to desist from such unpleasant engagement saying his victory will shock many at the polls.
He therefore called on the delegates to shun such political story as it was orchestrated to discourage his teeming supporters.
