Kidnapped Christian Cleric, Son, regain freedom in Ondo
An Anglican cleric, Venerable Olu Obanla and his son have regained freedom from the den of their abductors.
They were kidnapped along Ifon-Okeluse Road in Ose Local Government Area of Ondo state on Saturday.
Spokesperson of the state police command, Funmilayo Odunlami confirmed the development.
She said they were freed on Monday around 12.30 pm
The victims were traveling along the road when the hoodlums accosted and dragged them into the bush to an unknown destination.
The bandits had demanded a sum of N10million for the release of the victims
The family were unable to get the money as they could only gather N1million which was refused by the abductors.
