Hon Makinde Breaks Ground For School Construction.
Honorable Member of the House of Representatives, Hon Abiola Peter Makinde, representing Ondo East and West Federal Constituency has commenced construction of a four-block classroom, offices, stores, furniture and solar installation at Leutu community in Ondo East Local Government area.
The groundbreaking event which happened yesterday, at the site earmarked for the construction is a historic one. Historic in the sense that the community has never had a school facility and kids in the community has to trek several kilometres to access basic education.
At the occasion were party leaders, faithfuls, royal fathers and supporters of the Member House of Representatives who threw their weight behind him to represent them beyond 2023.
In a statement made available through the media adviser to the House of Reps Member, Hon Makinde said “As earlier notified,we did groundbreaking for the construction of a four-block classroom with offices,storage and solar installation at Leutu community in Ondo East Local government area.
I thank the royal fathers, party leaders and faithfuls who took out of their busy time to be present at the occasion. I say thank you.”
“I have directed the contractor in charge to expedite the construction so it would be delivered within the time frame.
We look forward to commissioning the project in the not too distant future. Thank you Ondo”, he concluded.
One of the people present at the occasion, Mrs Amosun stated that in the history of representation, no politician had ever given back to the community with such commitment.
