…..HON CHIEF ALEXANDER AJIPE: EPITOME OF A DEMOCRAT & CHOICE OF THE PEOPLE
Since the beginning of our current democratic experience arising from the historic moments that gave birth to the official handing over of the reins of government by the last military junta to a democratically elected government led by former President Olusegun Obasanjo in 1999 there has been few politicians who have managed to stand out in several aspects in the political domain.
Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu undoubtedly leads the pack while paving the way for the emergence of the next generation of exciting and progressive leaders in Lagos State and beyond. One of the most charismatic and sagacious leaders of the future following in the footsteps of political juggernauts in the history of the Nigeria is Chief Alex Ajipe
A consummate politician, businessman, positive change agent and champion of the masses Hon Chief Alex Ajipe has since gained massive support and street credibility within his primary constituency and beyond. Emerging from a humble beginning to occupying a formidable position in Nigeria’s political and commercial landscape is no easy feat and to say he has performed admirably well in piloting his political and business interests would be stating the obvious.
His popularity and mainstream acceptance stems from the fact that despite his enviable position he still manages to come across as a regular neighbourhood person with his humility, intelligence, quick wit and support for the downtrodden in society. In every street and neighbourhood in Ondo State and his Constituency, people talk about him with obvious awe and open admiration. To many, he is proof that great people can come from such a simple and rustic background. He is generally acknowledged as being one of the best things to have happened to Ondo State in recent times. Greatness is indeed a factor attained by a select few and Hon Chief Alex Ajipe has rightfully earned the right to be counted amongst one of the leading lights of our current democratic dispensation. If only we had more like him within the political and business arena then Nigeria would indeed have achieved her potential greatness by now!
