HON. ABAYOMI AKINRUNTAN ATTENDS APC ONDO SOUTH SENATORIAL STAKEHOLDERS MEETING
Ondo State house of assembly parliamentary secretary and APC standard bearer for Ilaje Constituency 1 put in an appearance in Ondo South Senatorial Stakeholders Meeting held at Ile-Oluji/Okeigbo Local Government, yesterday.
The meeting, which was well attended by several delegates and party stalwarts in Ondo South Senatorial Districts got the whole of Okeigbo/Ile-Oluji local government excited as Umpteen number of decampees led by Hon. Busayo Adepoju (ZLP) and Hon. Febisola Akinniranye (PDP) from ZLP and PDP was received into the All Progressives Congress (APC), yesterday during the meeting.
While addressing the delegates and stalwarts in the crucial meeting held at Odundun Hall, the state chairman,Engr. Ade Adetimehin beseeched party members to embrace unity and let bygones be bygones. He presented the Senatorial, House of representatives and All assembly standard flag bearers to the senatorial stakeholders as a mandate that should be delivered. In his word, Hon. Akinruntan, standard flag bearer for Ilaje Constituency 1 is a staunch party man who exuded uncommon confidence and a depict of dividends of democracy; he has done exceedingly well for the party and his people.
In a statement by APC South senatorial Chairman, Dr. Deji Oyedele. He stressed the needs for party stakeholders to work hard to secure headway for APC by connecting dots, building bridges and standing on a common ground ahead of the election. He said this as a prelude to birth the party emergence at the poll.
