Herdsmen Attack: Bunmi Tunji-Ojo Gives Full-Time Scholarship To Victim’s Daughter
The member representing Akoko North East/North West Federal Constituency at the green chamber and the Chairman, House Committee on NDDC, Rep. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo has granted a full time scholarship to Adedayo Kemisola, the daughter of late Adedayo Festus.
Adefayo Festus was killed on his farm by suspected Fulani herdsmen few weeks ago on his farm in Ajowa, Akoko North West Area of Ondo state.
The lawmaker, who was represented by one of his aides, Hon. Kehinde Obanla noted that the scholarship was necessary as late Adedayo was so dedicated to the education of his children, and now that death has denied him the opportunity to see to this, there is need for support from willing individuals.
Kemisola who is a student of the University of Abuja appreciated the gesture and promised to face her studies.
However, the lawmaker has promised to work with other stakeholders in improving the security of lives and properties of the people in the constituency.
Tunji-Ojo recently facilitated four patrol vehicles for the use of the Nigerian Police Force in the constituency.
