GROUP TAKES CAMPAIGN AGAINST SOCIAL VICES TO THE MEDIA, SEEKS COLLABORATION ON SENSITIZATION OF THE MASSES
Government at all levels have been urged to embrace good governance in the interest of better development and vices free society.
The coordinator of The lntegrity Elite, Mr Lanre Ogidan made the appeal during a courtesy visit to the management of Crest Fm radio station in Akure, the Ondo state capital on Thursday.
Mr Ogidan who described democracy as the government of the people, by the people and for the people, said it is also the means of reaching out to the masses through the dividends of the system.
The coordinator who affirmed that lntegrity Elite is none political, said the group is out to correct and give awareness on some of the wrongs in Nigeria society with the aim of ensuring necessary development.
Ogidan commended the management and staff of Crest Fm for their educative, informative and entertaining programs especially in the area of news reportage.
He expressed the readiness of the group to collaborate with Crest Fm in the area of providing necessary information and awareness that would enhance development of the country.
Welcoming the group, the executive director Crest Fm. Mr Dele Fanimo who appreciated the lntegrity Elite for the visit said the station was established to be a good gatekeeper between government and the entire people of Ondo state and Nigeria at large.
Similar advocacy visit has also been paid by the rights group to both Adaba FM Radio station and Ondo State Radio vision Corporation (OSRC) during the week.
