EMINENCE MOURNS OTUNBA PAUL AKINTELURE
Mr Dada Eminence who is a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress in Ondo state has described the death of Otunba Paul Akintelure as shocking and a down blow to the sunshine state,
Paul was reported to have died early hour of Tuesday in Lagos after a statement credited to him last week about threat to his life over his aspiration to become the governor of Ondo state.
Mr Eminence expressed his undaunted commiseration with the bereaved family and the people of Igbotako town under Okitipupa Local Government and pray may untimely death never visited our sunshine state
He was the Deputy Governorship aspirant using a joint ticket under the defunct Action Congress of Nigeria in 2012 in Ondo state with the immediate past governor of Ondo state, late Rotimi Akeredolu.
Eminence recal Otunba Paul Akintelure was sent from Lagos by Asiwaju Bola Tinubu now President Bola Tinubu to meet with the late Governor Akeredolu and Advocate for his aspiration to become the National Youth Leader of the All Progressives Congress at the party convention held at Eagle Square in 2021, but but unfortunately the intervention was already late as the state have decided on another interest.
He was a very consistent politician having known him from the day of Action Congress (AC) to Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) and finally to All Progressives Congress (APC), he doesn’t have history of cross carpeting nor indulge in anti party activities.
He added, Akintelure is a man of decorum, humility, peace and a successful politician who doesn’t make noise till succeded in silence, Ondo state will miss him, he said
