Eidul- Mawlid : Adefisoye Urges Constituents To Imbibe Love Virtue
Federal lawmaker representing Idanre/Ifedore federal constituency, Hon. Tajudeen Adefisoye has urged his constituents to imbibe the virtue of love in line with the teachings of the Holy Prophet Mohammad (SAW).
The Deputy Chairman, House Committee on Army gave this admonition in a statement he personally signed on occasion of this year’s Eidul- Mawlid.
Adefisoye advised that love was needed to ensure peaceful coexistent among the people. He also preached the need for the enthronement of trust and selflessness between the led and the leaders.
The statement reads in parts, “This year’s occasion of Eidul- Mawlid truly calls for deeper reflection by the led and the leaders. Love is a major ingredient that can only engender peaceful coexistent amongst the citizenry. It is also important for the leaders to work hard to regain the trust of the people.
“The act of selflessness must be evidently displayed by the leaders for our country to become a place of pride. The leaders should not hesitate to deliver good governance by conscientiously giving what is due to the citizenry to them. Recent events have made it indisputably clear that peace and security can only be guaranteed in the polity when good governance is delivered.
The lawmaker also urged the youths to give peace a chance by trusting the leaders for the implementation of their demands that necessitated the ‘EndSARS’ protests. He also posited that
the import of good governance which is encapsulated in the essence of the birth of Holy Prophet Mohammad (SAW) should be put into practice by the nation’s leaders.
Adefisoye however concluded the statement by wishing the Muslim faithful in Idanre/Ifedore federal constituency and Ondo State at large happy Eidul- Mawlid celebration.
