ARIGIDI AKOKO AGOG AS FUNMIAYINKE EMPOWERS PEOPLE
Funmiayinke Humanitarian Foundation has empowered over five hundred youths, market women, Aged and physically challenged people in ARIGIDI Akoko, in Akoko North West of Ondo State
Funmiayinke is a foundation for the less privileged and widow in the society facilitated and been funding over the years by Funmilayo Waheed-Adekojo.
The Arigidi Akoko born philanthropist over the years has been empowering alot of less privileged and widow in the society through her initiative FHF.
The beneficiaries, numbering 500, were presented with different materials at a ceremony that was attended by several stakeholders including top political leaders, in the area.
At the well attended event, Funmilayo Waheed-Adekojo who was represented by Ogbeni Adojutelegan Adesuyi said the program will be done frequently so that it’ll go round the community and the people will feel the impact of giving back to the society.
According to him, the program is done to lessen the burdens on them and promised to do more. He explained that the empowerment of the youths and women in the area is her own contribution towards reducing unemployment and poverty among her people.
He added that the beneficiaries of the training and empowerment programmes were selected without any partisan considerations.
