*AKEREDOLU’S DEATH, A MONUMENTAL LOSS –Dada Eminence*
Mr Dada Eminence, one of the prominent youth leaders of the All Progressives Congress in Ondo state, has said the death of Governor Rotimi Akeredolu is collosal and untimely that no one ever expected at this economic trying time of the country, urging all Ondo resident to give necessary backing to the new governor, Mr Lucky Ayedatiwa.
He acknowledged Late Akeredolu as a titan in the legal field whose legacy cannot be written off in the sand of time, we cannot so soon forgotten his role in the establishment of Yoruba security network Amotekun and the controversial circumstances that sorrounded it, may history will be kind to him in his sojourn to eternity,
In a statement made available to journalist shortly after the transition news flittered, while appealing to all Ondo residents to give maximum support to the new sworn governor, he prayed for peace and tranquility of all.
The statement reads:
With deep sorrow and heartfelt concern to the family of Governor Rotimi Akeredolu, the late former Governor of Ondo state, my sincere condolences to the grieving family, no one will ever wishes his love one dead no matter the age, no amount of appeasement can console the family but God in his infinite mercies will give you the fortitude to bear the loss.
Akeredolu has left an indelible print in the anal of Ondo state politics, he was a titan as the NBA President with track record,
I pray for the oneness of Ondo citizenry and seek profound support for the new governor Mr Lucky Orimisan Ayedatiwa, Ondo state is our home and it is our collective responsibility to give it full support for the substainability of democracy, to the Owo Kingdom the country home of the late patriarch, i condole with the royal family and the Owo’s as a whole, may evil never befal us again.
Once again, I commiserate with the entire Ondo people and pray may God grant the deceased eternal rest.
