Press Statement
Akeredolu to Ajayi: Please Count Me Out Of Your Woes
Our attention has been drawn to a press statement from the outgoing deputy Governor, Agboola Ajayi, wherein he accused Ondo State Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu Aketi, SAN, of being responsible for his recent show of shame within the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
As much as we have seen the viral videos where members of the PDP were chanting various songs and accusing Ajayi of attempting to bribe the Congress panel to fraudulently change the names of their party delegates in the 203 wards, we are not interested in whatever goes on in the PDP.
We can only sympathize with the PDP for the burden of a treasrous and manipulative personality it must bear in Ajayi whose penchant for desperation and incurable lust for power is alarming.
To set the records straight, we are constrained to warn the outgoing deputy governor to leave Governor Akeredolu out of his woes. Accusing the governor over his travails in the PDP upon the discovery of his entrenched character laced with mischief and lies by the prying eyes of other aspirants is most unacceptable.
We ask Ajayi to check himself. He should have a sober reflection if it is not too pernicious for him to allude that anywhere he gets to, the first reaction is discomfort on the part of the people. He must know that not all can tolerate his manipulative culture for too long, like Governor Akeredolu did.
We are also not unaware that his very weak intellectual content would always spur him to suspect even the most innocent and seemingly innocuous being around. His perennial lust to cut corners at all times should not be heaped on anyone.
