Residents of Ondo State have been assured of their security of lives and properties.
The residents, irrespective of their tribes and religions, were told to always go about their legitimate business without entertaining fear or intimidation from any quarter.
The Special Adviser to Governor Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa on Special Duties and Strategy, Hon. Gani Muhammed Ajowa, gave the assurance on Tuesday when some senior security personnel met with him in Akure, the state capital.
The meeting was centered on ways to prevent crimes across the state.
The senior security personnel at the meeting includes, O.C. Scorpion Squad, Adesunya Oyekanmi; Area Commander Oba-Ile, Omotayo Afolaranmi; and the Assistant Inspector General of Police, Zone 17, Mr. Ogbeghagha.
The security meeting also continued on Wednesday in Akure during which Gani Muhammed met with the SWAT Commander, Olasunkanmi Owoloye.
The Special Adviser equally expressed Governor Ayedatiwa’s determination to cooperate with all the security community in the state in the interest of all.
He said: “Governor Ayedatiwa is determined to ensure that no part of Ondo State is left insecure. We will achieve this by cooperating with the security community in the state.”
