Dr Muyiwa Olusa
A distinguished Leader and Advocate for Progress.
Dr Muyiwa Olusa, hailing from the renowned Olusa family in Ajowa Ondo State, has a rich and diverse background. Born in Ikare, Ondo State, he grew up in Ikaram and Ikare. He completed his secondary education at Saint Patrick’s college, Oka Akoko and currently serves as the National President of the old Students Association, where he has overseen substantial improvements in infrastructural and educational support.
Muyiwa boasts a strong academic background encompassing Business Administration. Accountancy, industrial and Labour Relations, Project Management and Law. He holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Legislative drafting and is a Notary Public. His affiliations include numerous professional bodies, as well as active involvement in both secular and religious Organizations.
As a committed member of Ward 5 (Ajowa/Gedegede/Igasi/Eriti) within the All Progressive Party (APC), Muyiwa participated in the 2019 National Assembly/House of Representatives primary election, aspiring to represent the Akoko North West/Akoko North East Federal Constituency. He notably organised and sponsored the first well-attended all-inclusive Ajowa Political Summit in 2019.
In addition to his political engagement, Muyiwa contributes significantly to community development through involvement in various organizations, including the Akoko Security and peace Development Council, Ajowa Development initiative, Ajowa strategic Development Council, and Akunu Security intervention. He serves as one of the Legal Advisers of the Diocese of Akoko (Anglican Communion) and notably most successful Ajowa Day celebrations to date.
Dr. Muyiwa Olusa is a devoted family man, happily married with children.
