The management of KAYODE AJULO & CO. CASTLE OF LAW has extended the period of stay off duty/ lockdown for both workers and clients of the law firm in view of its consultation with Medical Advisers and in response to daily exponential spike in the number of confirmed cases of corona virus by the National Centre for Disease Control and Prevention (NCDC).
In a memo dated 3rd May, 2020, the management urged members of staffs to continue to work from home for the next 7 days subject to subsequent directives.
The memo further reads: Lawyers in the Firm with pending cases in Court may be required to resume at the office for the purpose of preparing for and attending court matters.
Similarly, lawyers in the firm may be allowed access to the office to pick up files or go to the office on express request of the Managing Partner”, stressing that the above measures was put in place in order to continue to safeguard the health and wellbeing of all staff while doing whatever is reasonable to keep the Law Firm running.
