IBI GIGA AMBASSADORS HAILS APPOINTMENT OF AJIPE INTO APC NATIONAL CAMPAIGN COUNCIL FOR ONDO STATE
The Ibi Giga Ambassadors (I.G.A.), has hailed the appointment of Chief Alex Ajipe into the APC National Campaign Council for Ondo State Governorship Election, as well-deserved.
Chief Ajipe Alex is the Convener of Ibi Giga Ambassadors, a foremost support group working for the re-election of Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, for a second term in office.
The appointment was contained in a letter dated 11th August, 2020 and signed by the National Secretary, APC Caretaker/Extra-ordinary Convention Committee, Senator John Udoedehe.
The support group, Ibi Giga Ambassadors, in a news release by its Media Consultant, Mr. Dapo Daramola, described the appointment of Chief Ajipe as significant, unique and symbolic in view of his outstanding and worthy performance in floating a formidable group – Ibi Giga Ambassadors – in support of the emergence of Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu in the just concluded APC primary election in Ondo state.
According to Mr. Daramola, the group was particularly enthused by the national recognition of their Convener as reflected in appointment letter.
It reads in part; *”Your selection to serve is in consideration of your strength of character, experience and dedication in ensuring the success of the party.”*
Mr. Daramola said that the appointment did not come as a surprise because Chief Alex Ajipe had always given his all to the socio-economic and political transformation of the state and her people, adding that through the efforts of the appointee, Ibi Giga Ambassadors has become a force to be reckoned with throughout the 18 local government areas of the state.
While thanking President Muhammadu Buhari, the APC National Chairman, Caretaker/Extra-ordinary Convention Committee, His Excellency, Mai Mala Buni, APC National Leader, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu and the APC Chairman in Ondo state, Engr. Ade Adetimehin, for the confidence reposed in its Convener, Chief Alex Ajipe, the group promised to work harder to ensure ensure the success of the party and its candidate in the October 10 governorship election in the state.
Chief Ajipe is expected to work with the Babajide Sanwo-Olu-led National Campaign Council to organise a formidable campaign structure cutting across all strata of the party, mobilise members of the party or non-partisan members of the public in the state to build confidence on the party and its candidate and raise funds to be used in the effective management of the campaign resources, among other terms of reference.
