12 aspirants jostling for the seat were being screened on Wednesday at an undisclosed hotel in Utako suburb area of the Federal Capital, Abuja .
Six of the aspirants screened so far.
A reliable source said the Gov. Mai Mala Buni- led Caretaker Committee resolved to stick to the mode of primary adopted and conveyed to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) by the sacked National Working Committee (NWC) of the party
Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu is one of the aspirants screened by the committee.
Other aspirants screened on Wednesday are :Amb. Joseoh Olusola Iji; Chief Odimayo Okunjimi; Chief Olayide Owolabi Adelaml; Chief Issacs Kekemeke Duerlminl and Chief Olusola Oke.
