The news of the death of the Hon. Commissioner for Health, Dr. Wahab Adegbenro, came to us as a rude shock.

In his capacity as the Chairman, Ondo State Inter-ministerial Committee against Covid-19, Dr. Adegbenro has been at the forefront of government efforts to curtail the spread of the pandemic in Ondo State.

Adegbenro was a humble public servant, accessible and generous to a fault.

We pray God in His infinite mercies grant his immediate family and the Government of Ondo State the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.
